Discover our adorable range of handmade children's shorts — perfect for toddlers, preschoolers, older children and active little explorers! Each pair is crafted with love making them ideal for summer outfits, layering with tights, or everyday adventures.
With sizes for babies, toddlers, and children, our unisex and gender-neutral designs are as versatile as they are adorable. From retro-inspired prints to bold modern patterns, these shorts are made to mix, match, and move!


Shorts Styles
- Skater shorts (available up to 9-10y) are all made from matching fabric, they have stitched turn ups on the legs.
- Bummies (available up to 5-6y) as standard will be made with the fabric all over, however if you'd prefer solid colour leg bands just leave a note at checkout.  
- Yoga Shorts (available up to 9-10y) are a three quarter length shorts. They have a soft, solid colour rib waist band. If you would like a specific colour please leave a note at checkout.
- Cuff shorts (available up to 5-6y) are a shorter version of yoga shorts. 
- Pocket shorts (available up to 9-10y) now have an elasticated waistband, matching print all over and have leg cuffs. 
- Cycle Shorts (available up to 12-14y) Long Length Cycle Shorts fit similar to our leggings but a cropped version. These come around knee length. These come as Standard Length, if you would prefer Long Length leave a note at checkout.

Fabric - Standard Jersey

We only choose fabrics that are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified to give parents peace of mind.  This is soft cotton jersey fabric. 

Each item of clothing is hand cut in our workshop and then sewn on industrial machines by our small team of on-site seamstresses to ensure the highest quality.

1 - Items which are customised / tailor made are exempt from the distance selling regulations. Please make sure you read the terms and conditions before making your purchase. These items cannot be changed once purchased, this includes the size ordered.

3 - Always follow the wash instructions on the label.

  • Shipping

    Our usual dispatch time is around 5 weeks, but please allow up to 6 weeks as we are a small team and occasional delays may occur. Delivery takes an additional 2–5 working days.

    If your order exceeds these timeframes, you may email enquiries@aliceandharry.co.uk with your full name, order number, and order date to follow up.

  • Exchanges

    Customised Items

    Custom orders (including custom sizes) are non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless we’ve made an error (e.g., wrong fabric or size). These items are exempt from change-of-mind returns under distance selling regulations. Please check our size guide and timescales before ordering.

    Standard Stock & Pre-Made Items

    Faulty items will be replaced at our cost—contact us within 14 days. For change-of-mind returns, postage costs are non-refundable, and return shipping is your responsibility. Replacements follow the usual turnaround time and depend on fabric availability. Items must be returned unwashed and unused within 14 days of your return request.
